Rev. Dr. Won Kim

Rev. Dr. Won Kim is a Korean Canadian-American who was born in Seoul Korea and grew up in Toronto Ontario before moving to the U.S. He has been in ministry for more than 25 years in teaching, mentoring, and preaching wherever the LORD has called him. His diverse pastoral background includes congregational ministry, international mission, campus ministry and hospital chaplaincy. Won is passionate about building a Spirit-filled, orthodox church that holds traditional Wesleyan doctrine and vision to make disciples of Jesus Christ who worship passionately, love extravagantly and witness boldly.
He is a graduate of York University (B.A), McMaster University Divinity School (M.Div), Asbury Theological Seminary (M.A) and Emory University Candler School of Theology (D.Min). Won is married to his wife Jessie and blessed with three children; Ryan, Joy and Sarabeth. He is an ordained elder in the Global Methodist Church, currently serving as an executive member of the Board of Ministry of the Great Lakes Annual Conference, vice chair of the North-East Regional Candidacy. He is the lead pastor of St. Paul Methodist Church of Elkton in Michigan since 2016.
